Marine Managers Look Upstream for Connections

John C. Ogden

The Florida Keys are a heavily managed land-sea reserve, preserved as a National Marine Sanctuary, but fishing and collecting are prohibited in only a small area. Ogden discusses the management of this Sanctuary and how new results on the sources of larvae for marine species in the Caribbean, presented by Roberts et al., will influence future planning.
